Do you want to help develop both the organization and caseworkers in a social service that focuses on participation and networking? Do you want to work in a role where you lead and develop employees in the case management process? Are you ready to take the next step in your career? Then you could be our new team leader!

As one of our team leaders is retiring, we are looking for our next team leader to work with investigation and follow-up of services for children, youth, and their families in Gottsunda. Our work is characterized by a lot of collaboration and great development opportunities. We have our own office space co-located with family therapists.

Job Responsibilities

The team leader role is a supervisory function, and the work includes supporting the unit manager in ensuring that the authority's work at the unit complies with legislation, delegation orders, agreements, and governing documents. You will supervise and coach both new and experienced social workers and serve as an accessible support in daily work. You will provide guidance and work methodologically, lead case discussions, and ensure a good response towards citizens and partners while maintaining high-quality documentation.

As a Team Leader, you are an important complement to the unit manager and work closely with social workers on a daily basis. You will work closely with the other team leader in the unit and will be jointly responsible for the implementation and development of work methods. You will also be a presenter in the Individual Committee and court. The position may involve work in the late afternoon/evening.

As a team leader in the unit, you will be part of our internal management group consisting of the unit manager and the two team leaders. Team leaders from different units collaborate on case matters, staffing during absences, and development issues. Team leaders from the entire department meet regularly to collaborate and also receive supervision together. You will therefore have many colleagues with similar functions.

In 2026, we will focus on further training for managers and team leaders in Signs of Safety as part of leadership development.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a degree in social work and several years of experience in authority work with children and youth. To succeed in the role of team leader, you need to feel confident in all aspects of case management. We prefer candidates with previous experience as a specialist caseworker, group leader, or team leader. A valid B driver's license and good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form are prerequisites for the position.

The work requires you to be responsible, stress-resistant, and able to prioritize easily. We are looking for someone who has the ability to lead and motivate others to effectively achieve common goals.
